Joe is from Southampton and at the age of 18 moved to London to further his training on a scholarship at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. On graduating he embarked on an extensive and varied performance career including UK and European tours, television and commercial work, cruise ships and corporate events. Between performance jobs he would often teach and choreograph and after eight years it became apparent that this was where his passion lay.

He relocated from London to Bath in 2017 and currently works as Head of Dance at University Centre Weston for their Dance and Musical Theatre degrees as well as teaching at several highly acclaimed studios including Fitzgraham Academy of Dance and Dorothy Coleborn School of Dance. During his time in the south-west, he has helped many students on their professional journey with a very high number of them gaining places at prestigious schools including Bird College, Laine Theatre Arts, Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, The Urdang Academy, Tring Park Performing Arts, Central School of Ballet, Italia Conti and Performers College amongst others.
